Key Accountabilities:

  • Carry out services, scheduled maintenance and repairs to vehicles, plant & equipment.
  • Carry out machine fault diagnosis with the ability to troubleshoot.
  • Complete work orders, timesheets/service sheets
  • Operate within the Pilecom values.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive team culture 
  • Will need to attend breakdowns across the whole fleet on site, thinking quick on the feet to get machines back in operation with minimal down time

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining & servicing some or all of the following:

  • Engines and Generators
  • Tele-handlers & Forklifts
  • Drill Rigs
  • Breakdowns on the above machines
  • Hydraulics
  • Competent in utilising computer skills to search manuals / data for servicing and schematics

Experience in the following is preferable but not essential:

  • Hydraulic tool maintenance
  • Piling Equipment maintenance
  • Hand & power tool maintenance
  • Electrical fault finding
  • Welding 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Qual or Trade Certificate as a Heavy Diesel Vehicle Mechanic
  • Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • Experience ensuring that all tasks are performed within WHS guidelines and standards.
  • C Class Drivers License
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety-Risk Assessments, SWMS, JHA.
