Key Accountabilities:
- Carry out services, scheduled maintenance and repairs to vehicles, plant & equipment.
- Carry out machine fault diagnosis with the ability to troubleshoot.
- Complete work orders, timesheets/service sheets
- Operate within the Pilecom values.
- Promote a positive and inclusive team culture
- Will need to attend breakdowns across the whole fleet on site, thinking quick on the feet to get machines back in operation with minimal down time
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining & servicing some or all of the following:
- Engines and Generators
- Tele-handlers & Forklifts
- Drill Rigs
- Breakdowns on the above machines
- Hydraulics
- Competent in utilising computer skills to search manuals / data for servicing and schematics
Experience in the following is preferable but not essential:
- Hydraulic tool maintenance
- Piling Equipment maintenance
- Hand & power tool maintenance
- Electrical fault finding
- Welding
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Qual or Trade Certificate as a Heavy Diesel Vehicle Mechanic
- Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Experience ensuring that all tasks are performed within WHS guidelines and standards.
- C Class Drivers License
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety-Risk Assessments, SWMS, JHA.
